Done with mascara that smudges by 3pm and still never gives you enough?

6 reasons girls are breaking up with mascara

Five minutes putting it on, five minutes scrubbing it off, and it still never gives you the lashes you want. Here's why more and more women are swapping the wand for ARA's DIY lash clusters.

It saves me soo much time because I apply mascara every morning and if I have a nanny nap or after shower I have to re apply when I go out. This is soo good.

Mascara vs ARA

Feature Mascara ARA
Length & volume Only coats the lashes you've got Adds real length and fluff
How long it lasts Until you wash your face Up to 10 days
By 3pm Smudged, flaky, panda eyes Waterproof, still on at 10pm
Every morning Redo it. Every. Single. Day. Nothing. You wake up with lashes
Taking it off Scrubbing, and losing lashes Slides off with remover, no rubbing

Summary: if you want lashes that look done all week without the daily routine, ARA does what mascara can't.

  1. 01 / More than mascara

    Mascara never gives you enough

Mascara can only coat the lashes you were born with. However many coats you stack on, there's a limit. ARA clusters sit under your natural lashes and add real length and fluff, so you get the salon-extension look mascara just can't do.

  2. 02 / Waterproof

No more panda eyes by 3pm

Gym session, Aussie summer, crying at a movie: mascara smudges and flakes, and you're checking the mirror all day. Our Bond & Seal keeps clusters waterproof, so your lashes look the same at 10pm as they did at 8am.

  3. 03 / Do it once

Wake up with lashes for up to 10 days

No wand, no curler, no redoing it every single morning. Apply once and wear them for up to 10 days. Showers, sleep and the school run included.

  4. 04 / Kinder to your lashes

Stop losing lashes wiping it off

Scrubbing off waterproof mascara every night tugs at your natural lashes. When you're done with ARA, the remover dissolves the bond so the clusters slide away. No rubbing, no pulling.

  5. A better bond: ARA Bond & Sealant. Bond, place, seal.

05 / Easier than you think

10 minutes, even if you've never done lashes

It's three steps: bond, place, seal. Every kit is made for beginners, and there's a 60-second tutorial to follow along. Your first go might take a little longer, and most girls say it clicks after the first couple of tries.

  6. 06 / Lasts for months

One kit = around 3 months of lashes

Every kit comes with 192 handmade clusters plus bond, seal, remover and an applicator, so you're not buying anything else. Clusters can be cleaned and reused, and when you run out, a refill tray is just the clusters.

Real girls who ditched the wand

My longest has been 6 days with ARA

I've gone from 2 days lasting and falling off with my previous buys, to now my longest has been 6 days with ARA, and I took them off to give my eyes a rest. Best lashes in Aus!

Better than the salon, apparently

I got the OG kit and they are absolutely flawless! I've had them on for a week and they're still holding on strong. My hubby said I do a better job than the salon 😜

The compliments say it all

As a first-time cluster user I struggled a bit, but the instructions on the box and Instagram made it so much easier. The bond has kept my lashes on for a week and a bit. The compliments tell you how worth it these are.

NEVER going back to a lash tech for a 2hr infill every 2 weeks when I can spend 10 mins a week for the same effect. $95 for an infill vs. $75 for 2 months... Girl math for the win!

The best clusters I've ever used! Don't think I'll be going back to extensions either. Got me looking like a baddie whenever I want and it takes 10 minutes out of my day!!

Used a lot of DIY lashes and hands down these would be my favourite. The glue especially is 💯 truly tough.

I've been buying these lashes since before July last year and safe to say I'm OBSESSED. You really get the hang of it quite quickly. I've never felt prettier.

Before you ask

The questions we get most. Anything else, message us.

I've never used lash clusters. Will I manage?
Yes. Every kit is designed for beginners and it's three steps: bond, place, seal. Your first go will take longer than 10 minutes, and that's normal. Watch the 60-second tutorial first, and grab Lash Tape to hold your eye still while you place.
How long does it take?
Around 10 minutes once you've got the hang of it. Most customers say it clicks after the first couple of applications.
Which style should I start with?
OG is our most versatile: spaced out it's natural, closer together it's hybrid, double-stacked it's volume. Not sure? Take the 30-second quiz.
How long do they stay on?
Up to 10 days of wear. Prep makes the biggest difference: start with clean, oil-free natural lashes and use a thin layer of bond rather than a thick one.
Can I shower, swim or train in them?
Yes. The bond and seal are waterproof, so showers, gym sessions and game day are all fine.
How long does one kit last?
Around 3 months. Each tray has 192 handmade clusters, and you can clean and reuse clusters between applications.
When I run out, do I need a whole new kit?
No. A refill tray ($49.99) is just the clusters, so you keep using your bond, seal and remover until they run low.
Will they damage my natural lashes?
The clusters are lightweight and sit underneath your own lashes, not glued to the skin. To take them off, the remover dissolves the bond so the clusters slide away without pulling.
I have sensitive eyes. Can I use them?
Our bond is hypoallergenic and the remover is formulated to be non-irritating. If you have known allergies, check the full ingredients on any kit page and patch test before your first application.
